FAQs

Individual sessions are charged at £50 per 50 minute session.

Individual sessions last 50 minutes and I offer counselling for as long as you feel you need it. Throughout the time we work together we will regularly review how we are getting on.

It is helpful to come weekly at the same day and time. I appreciate sometimes people may need to be flexible and I will do my best to accomodate this.

Yes, absolutely. Counselling is strictly private and anything that is discussed is confidential between you and myself. There are certain rare legal exceptions, such as, if there is reason to believe a client is at risk to either self or others, a previously undisclosed crime has been committed, and/or where it is found that children are at risk. This will be clarified at our first session.

I can offer appointment times during weekdays and some evenings. I can also offer some early morning appointments. The availability of appointments varies but I can advise you of this when you first call.

I work from my private practice in Enfield Town, using a quiet room where we would not be disturbed.

My practice is located on Genotin Terrace, which is a public footpath running between London Road and Genotin Road in Enfield Town.

Enfield Town station is 2 minutes walk to Genotin Terrace and Enfield Chase is 10 minutes walk. Bus stops are within 3 minutes walk to and from many local destinations. Enfield town has many car parking facilities comprising of a mixture of multi-storey and open surface car parks with payment systems ranging from pay and display to pay on foot. The closest multi-storey car park is Palace Exchange (Sat Nav EN2 6TS) which is approximately a 3 minute walk from Genotin Terrace.

Please give a minimum of 24 hours notice by calling me on 07709 588 782 or emailing me at [email protected]. Should you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or fail to attend a session, the full fee will be charged, and it is requested that this be paid at the next session or sent by check through the mail.

Simply book one initial 50 minute assessment session, to help you clarify if counselling would be beneficial. If after one session you do not feel it is right, that’s fine; at least you have explored a new possibility. However, you may feel that it is beneficial for you to continue with counselling.

Yes. I have a limited number of special rate sessions for students and trainees during the daytime, please contact me to discu ss how I may be able to help.
