About Me
I have trained and worked in the field of mental health since 2006. After graduating with a degree in psychology, I volunteered at a local mental health charity as a social support and drop-in worker for many years, supporting people with a wide range of mental health issues.
As well as my current private practice in Enfield, I worked as a counsellor at an alcohol and drugs advisory service supporting clients dealing with substance misuse, and at local cancer support centre working with clients and their families/carers who have been impacted by the effects of cancer. I also provide short-term sessions of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy for national healthcare groups and for private clients who may self-refer to me.
Until February 2020, I was Lecturer in Counselling teaching a variety of counselling skills and studies courses at a local further education college.
